Cold Water / Água Fria was selected for the Official Competition of the Short Shorts Film Festival in Mexico. It is the second Mexican festival to Cold Water, after the Guadalajara Film Festival.

Cold Water / Água Fria wins the Special Mention of the Júri in Documenta Madrid - Festival Internacional de Documentales de Madrid, the Spanish most important Documentary Film Festival. Cold Water was selected for the Oficial Competition.
