Filmaporto Presents Red Desert Films Documentaries
In two sessions, Filmaporto presents a selection of works produced by Red Desert Films, founded in 2008 by filmmaker Pedro Neves. Focused primarily on documentaries, the Porto-based production company includes in its catalog award-winning films featured at prestigious national and international film festivals.
In the First Session, the following films will be presented:

Set Hares Running, by Rui Pinheiro
This session will be presented by the filmmakers. Free admission, subject to ticket collection on the day of the event. Limited to two tickets per person.

Red Desert shorts in Espaço Mira, Porto
The films "Hospedaria" (2014) and "Náufragos" (2018) will be screened, along with "A Praia" by Pedro Neves, who will be present for a conversation at the end.
The Melusinas in Festa do Avante!
Melusinas on the banks of the river, by Melanie Pereira and produced by Red Desert, will be shown at Festa do Avante.
Tarrafal presented in Viana do Castelo Prison
The film TARRAFAL by Pedro Neves was screened in Viana do Castelo, romoting audiovisual practice and culture in a prison context, with the director in attendance.
