Água Fria - Cold Water in "Público" newspaper
Água Fria is almost 14 minutes of reflection on being Portuguese or, at least, "on a certain way of being Portuguese". It's a film "about disappointments, about memories, about sensations". The short film was selected for Clermont-Ferrand, in France, considered the most important International Short Film Festival in the world.
It was supposed to be just a scene from a film about the Portuguese coast, which Pedro Neves is preparing. But when the director saw the images he captured, months after visiting the São Bartolomeu do Mar pilgrimage, in Esposende, he realized that it could be more than that.
