Edila Gaitonde was the first Portuguese woman to marry a Hindu Goan during the dictatorship. Her husband, Pundalik Gaitonde, was one of the main freedom fighters for Goa’s independence. She passed away in 2021 at the age of 100, but she left stories about a forgotten Goa and Portugal. Her accounts, photographs and dozens of unreleased super 8 films are the palette to tell her life story.
