The Land of the Widows of the Living won three prizes in Arché - Doclisboa
The Land of the Widows of the Living, a documentary project by Melanie Pereira, produced by Red Desert, won three prestigious awards at Arché during the 2024 Doclisboa festival.

Still in development, the project was honored with the School of Arts Award from the Portuguese Catholic University – Special Jury Prize for Best Arché Project in the writing or development phase.
Additionally, the film received the #LINK Encuentro Iberoamericano de Cine Documental Award for Best Portuguese Arché Project in the writing or development phase and the Impronta Award for Best Arché or Guest Country Project in the writing or development phase.
The jury for Arché included renowned figures Catarina Mourão, Clémentine Mourão-Ferreira, and Juan Pablo Bastarrachea.

As Melusinas à Margem do Rio, directed by Melanie Pereira and produced by Red Desert, won three awards at DocLisboa: The Fernando Lopes Award for Best Portuguese First Film, the School Award for Best Film, and the HBO Award for Best Portuguese Competition Film.
Hands Cut wins the Jury Prize at the International Film Festival of Martil
The short documentary, directed by Ricardo Leite and produced by Red Desert, won the Jury Prize at the International Film Festival of Martil, Morocco.
