Time takes a Cigarette, directed by Aya Koretzky and produced by Red Desert, will have its International Premiere at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Film Festival.

Geni, directed by Luís Vieira Campos, will be screened on November 24th, at 19h0 in Passos Manuel, as part of the Cinema Falado section.

The film, shot during a workshop organized by Curtas Vila do Conde, will premiere at the Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival on Sunday, the 15th.

One day almost everything turned into a pile of rubble and bush. There remained ghosts wandering through the fields, the ruins and the fog. Some of these ghosts are alive.

Directed by the French director Patrick Séraudie, Le Choix Impossible is a co-production between Red Desert and Pyramide Production. It concerns several questions about the crisis and the Portuguese immigration (the new and the former generation).

We have a new film. Hands Cut, directed by Ricardo Leite, was presented at Desobedoc in Porto over the weekend. It offers a director's perspective on the closed borders and desperate refugees in Hungary and Serbia.

Shot between Colombia and Portugal, this new film was written and directed by Josephine Landertinger Forero. It is a co-production between Global Eyes Production and Red Desert and will soon begin the international festival circuit.

Almost 30% of the population of Porto lives in council districts. It is a special experience when districts become small towns with their own customs and traditions.
